Looking to start a career within the bridal makeup industry? This course teaches students the essentials of bridal makeup. Learn how to provide a luxury service whilst creating flawless, long lasting makeup that photographs beautifully.

The Bridal Course

No previous experience required. Courses are suitable for complete beginners or advanced artists. Learn at your own pace, focusing on the areas you want to improve. Students will learn the basics of makeup application, heath & safety and how to conduct themselves professionally when working with clients.

Training takes place at our studio located in Staple Hill, Bristol. Courses are run on consecutive days Monday-Thursday and include 2 looks per day with a 1 hour lunch break. All products, brushes & tools are provided. You don't need to bring anything with you but it is advised to take photos and notes during training.
Course modules are taught on a model through step-by-step instruction. Each stage of the makeup application is broken down into easy to follow directions where students recreate the steps on a model. Guidance and mentoring are provided throughout, allowing students to learn at their own pace whilst building their confidence.

On the final day of the course, students progress will be assessed through an independent makeup application. Following a watch & learn demo students will recreate the look, demonstrating the skills & knowledge learned throughout training.
Students will learn a variety of modern makeup looks to prepare them for working within the makeup industry. Master the art of skin prep, become confident in colour matching, and learn how to provide a professional service to clients.

Before attending the academy, students are required to complete online training. Approximately 14 hours of study time will be required to complete the theory element of this course. Including study & assessment of the following units:
